My first ever illustration brief!

I was initially aiming for the other playing card illustration briefs that were more my style, but they chose my realistic illustration drafts and awarded me the realistic version, which was completely not my style. Tried doing it anyway!

So I sketched out a few sea creatures for Novotel’s poker card set, one for each of the J K Q A cards of each suit, including a goofy joker pair: clownfish (duh) and an obnoxious flounder.
